California Poppies

I was in Avila Beach, California taking photos. At the top of a retaining wall by the side of the road was a bunch of rather tenacious California Poppies. I was able to stand at the base of the wall and shoot up to get the light filtering through the flowers and the beautiful clear blue sky.

For my version, I gave the sky a lot more movement to make it much more dramatic.
