I've been doing various art shows and craft shows for many years. During that time I have created a large amount of original artwork.

Eventually I discovered that not only could I sell the original artwork, but I could actually do interesting things with the images.

It is for this reason that this website exists.

My Signature

When we were growing up, my younger brother had a difficult time saying "Loretta." So, my name was shortened to "Retta." The nickname stuck and now I use it as my artist signature. However, the astute observer will notice that the entire name is represented in this signature.

The apostrophe represents the missing "o" and the flourish at the bottom represents the missing "L." Hence, all 7 letters are accounted for.

Later on, my Mother appended my nickname with "Cat." So it became RettaCat.

I have chosen to use RettaCat as the brand name for my boutique line of products including bags, mirrored compacts, greeting cards, prints, handmade cards, scarves, and small originals.
